Week 6 – This Whole Thought Thing

In my last post, I was talking about thoughts and the fact that the only thing we can really control in our life would be our thoughts.  I know that the average person really doesn’t understand that statement, and I, for one, am still trying to master my ability to control my thoughts because through MKMMA I have learned “you must succeed in dismissing, eliminating, and completely destroying these negative and destructive thoughts because they are the seed which is constantly germinating into discordant conditions of every conceivable kind and description”.  If we truly believed that we could create the life of our dreams and spare ourselves “the discordant conditions of every conceivable kind and description”, why on earth wouldn’t we spend significant time and energy sharpening our skills regarding our ability to control our thoughts?  We’d be crazy not to be investing in ourselves, and yet we’ll find every excuse under the sun not to do just that.  It’s never the right time.  There’s always too much else on our plates, etc..

I totally believe that thoughts become things, and when we can harness and direct our thoughts, we can change our reality.  We have the power.  Yes, we do.  We are the architects of our lives and our thoughts are the primary tool we use in our design.  Period.  The question that will always leave me speechless is:  If we’re such sophisticated architects (and we are), why are we designing anything for ourselves other than the life that we truly deserve to live?  Again, I’m on the path to mastery in this department – I’ve seen far too many great things come into my life as a result of MKMMA and harnessing my thoughts to believe the concept not to be true.  What the world needs so very desperately is more open-minded self directed thinkers because the one thing we ALL have is our thoughts, and that’s the only thing we can control and direct….Here’s to a great design, Folks!!!
